Korean company "TOW Co., Ltd." is considering the possibility of processing polyethylene and polypropylene on the territory of Angren FEZ

On May 7, 2021, an off-site meeting was held with representatives of the Korean company “TOW Co., Ltd.” in the Akhangaran block of the Angren FEZ territory.

During the meeting, the representatives got acquainted with the investment attractiveness of the FEZ "Angren" and discussed the possibilities of implementing a project for the processing of polyethylene and polypropylene, the production of composite raw materials for the further manufacture of finished polymer products on the territory of the Angren FEZ.

The investors plan to make foreign direct investments in the amount of $ 3.0 million for the implementation of this project, as a result of which more than 30 new jobs will be created. The commissioning of the facility is planned for the 2nd quarter of 2022.
