Production of steel reinforcements has been started in the territory of the Free Economic Zone "Angren"

At the end of December 2019, “Run Tong Metal Industrial” LLC FE launched at the 1st stage a new production facility for the production of high-quality steel reinforcements with a diameter of 8 mm to 22 mm in the Akhangaran block of the Free Economic Zone "Angren". The annual capacity of production is 180.0 thousand tons per year.

The foreign investor of the enterprise - the Chinese company "Jiangsu Huaiye Technology Development Co., Ltd." built a modern metallurgical production complex with foreign direct investment in the amount of 41.0 million US dollars.

As a result, the company employed over 240 workers, mainly from the population of the cities of Akhangaran, Angren, Almalyk and Akhangaran district.

At the next stage, the company is planning to master the production of seamless pipes for widespread use in building industry.
