Exchange of experience with foreign free industrial zones

On April 18, 2022, representatives of the Angren FEZ Directorate visited the Istanbul Free Industrial and Trade Zone. During the visit, a meeting was held with the development, Mr. Barlas Nas – manager of the operating company "DESBAS".

During the meeting, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the operating company, the conditions created for investors and the privileges of the Istanbul Free Industrial and Trade Zone.

DESBAS was founded in 1994. The company with over 27 years of experience is the first private company to operate a free zone in Turkey. The zone currently has over 300 industrial and commercial resident companies with an annual turnover of over $2.3 billion.
