Turkish investors have expressed interest in the construction of a modern textile complex in the Angren FEZ

On March 2, 2021, by the invitation of the Directorate of "Angren" FEZ a meeting was held with the delegation of the Uzbek-Turkish JV "Sunrise Textile" headed by the Sales Director Mr. Altan Fethi. The investment project proposed by the Turkish investors for the construction of a textile complex provides the creation of a weaving, dyeing, finishing and sewing production cycle with an annual production capacity of 39.5 million r/m and 784.7 thousand units respectively. The cost of the project is 136 million US dollars. The implementation of this project will create more than 1000 new jobs for the population of the Tashkent region.
