IUT and SIZ “Angren” sign memorandum of understanding

Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) and Directorate of the Special Industrial Zone (SIZ) “Angren” signed a memorandum of understanding on 20 October 2016. Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Mr. Sherzod Shermatov and head of the Directorate of Special Industrial Zone “Angren” Mr. Sakhib Saifnazarov inked the memorandum on behalf of their respective organizations. The Parties to MoU agreed to collaborate in four main areas. In particular, Inha University in Tashkent and Directorate of Special Industrial Zone “Angren” envisage to launch a programme of providing educational grants for gifted students to cover their university tuition fees. At the same time, parties to the MoU reached an agreement to launch projects aimed at developing, introducing, maintaining and further modernizing of the software necessary for the development and promotion of enterprises at SIZ “Angren”. IUT students will be involved in the process of realization of these projects, which will help to improve practical skills of the future professionals. The parties will also cooperate in the realization of other projects on the introduction of innovative solutions to the activities of various industrial enterprises at SIZ “Angren”, development of interactive services and mobile apps, modern software for improving logistic and marketing chains of the production. Another field of partnership of the two organizations will include training and improving hard skills of the employees of the Directorate of SIZ “Angren” in the field of multifaceted introduction and effective use of modern information technologies. The curriculum of the trainings will be conducted via organization of a series of training courses, directed at developing skills of system analysis, time management and implementation of IT systems. In this regard, IUT will attract experienced specialists as lecturers and trainers.
