Chocolate and confectionery products will be produced in Angren FEZ

On February 25, 2022, the "American Sweets" JV became a member of the Angren Free Economic Zone. The total cost of the project is 11.953 million US dollars. The foreign investor is "STL Truckers LLC" (USA) with a volume of direct investments in the amount of 10.5 million US dollars.
The annual production capacity of the enterprise is more than 3,420.0 tons of chocolate and confectionery products and 74.368 million packs of chewing gum, of which 10% are intended for export. The project will be implemented in 3 stages. The commissioning of the 1st stage of the enterprise is planned for the 2nd quarter of 2022, as a result of which more than 46 workers from the population of the city of Angren will be employed.
