The Turkish company "Ünal Maden" is considering the possibility of implementing a project in the "Angren" FEZ

On December 3, 2021, a meeting was held with representatives of the Turkish company “Ünal Maden” at the Directorate of the Free Economic Zone "Angren". During the meeting, a presentation was shown on the investment attractiveness of the Angren FEZ and were discussed the possibilities of implementing a project for the processing of lead ore and the production of lead ingots in the territory of the Angren FEZ.

In the first phase of the project, the company is planning to import ores containing minerals such as galena and lead luster from neighboring countries. At the next stage, it is planning to use lead and zinc ores of Tashkent and Jizzakh regions.
